Reporting and Analytics Support

Description: provides self-service reporting tools, custom report programming, and support for business intelligence tools, data visualizations, and analytics.

Eligibility:  faculty and staff

How to request:  ITS Help Request system

Initiated:  Request to ITS Help Request system. Service may also be initiated as part of a project with an approved ITS project charter.

Availability:  Consulting and programming available during normal business hours (8:30am – 5pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays and campus shutdowns.)

Charges:  There is no charge for campus resources. Use of external resources may incur charges


  • Self-service reporting tool
  • Data availability subject to approval from the appropriate data steward
  • Support for business intelligence tools, data visualization, and analytics.
  • Specialized report programming

  • Dashboards and reports as appropriate

Service Targets:

  • 90% of custom report requests compete within 10 working days (2 calendar weeks)
  • Mean time to repair break/fix incidents less than 8 business days
  • Techqual survey responses to “having systems that provide timely access to data that informs decision making” above minimum
