Protect Your Password from Phishing!

by Fred Miller on 2020-06-15T14:29:00-04:00 | Comments

We've seen a surge in phishing attacks since the start of the pandemic. Please be careful with your Wofford Password.

*** There are only TWO web pages where Wofford asks for your Wofford password. ***

The first is the Wofford Single Sign-on page. It is used for myWofford and other Wofford web services. On an iPhone it looks like this*:

*Note the server name:

The second is the Microsoft login for Wofford apps like email and OneDrive. Microsoft asks for your full email address as the userid on one web page, and asks for your password on the next. That second page has a picture of Old Main, and looks like this

If you receive an email asking you to login with your Wofford ID and password on any other web page, it may be phishing.

Please contact the IT Help Center if you are asked to enter your Wofford password on any other web page.
