Wofford Remote Instruction Tools

Whether it's a snow day, a scheduled absence, or emergency, Wofford has a number of tools to help provide continuity for lost face-to-face class time. Here are tools Wofford faculty may use to connect with students remotely and deliver course materials. 

  email Moodle OneDrive Teams Zoom
On-line discussions (asynchronous)      
Provide course content to students  
Accept assignments from students      
Gradebook tool        
Students pre-populated for each Wofford class        
Provide real-time (synchronous) video      
Share powerpoint or screen during video      
Record video       √*
Initial setup requires faculty request       √**
Uses Wofford ID and password (Single sign on)
* Uses MS Streams for video playback          
** No ITS setup required for basic Teams chat features
