Instruction Librarian

A Typical Day at the Library

As an instruction-and-research librarian, I help students find the best information sources to meet their needs and circumstances. (I welcome walk-ins. Students can make appointments with me using “Ask a Librarian,” our library’s online appointment-scheduler.) I also provide how-to instruction to classes and individuals doing research. I am the personal librarian for all first-year students and for certain academic departments and programs: Art & Art History, the Asian Studies Program, Environmental Studies, the Gender Studies Program, Government & International Affairs, Religion, Sociology & Anthropology.
