While you are working on drafting your essay, make sure to address some of the following points:
· Reflect on your learning in the course and assess your strengths and weaknesses (if any) when completing the course assignments.
· How is your viewpoint shaped by your history, cultural, political, economic, etc. systems?
· In what ways do you recognize the perspectives of others shaped by the same complex forces
· Is there an appreciation of the process of understanding others, and how do your readings, discussions, and other course aspects help constitute this appreciation
· Think analytically & critically about the complex, interconnected nature of the Arab world
· Build arguments using logic, evidence
· Challenge your assumptions and be empathetic to other points of view
The essay must be typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. font (Times New Roman), and include at least five academic references.
