What, exactly, is a personal librarian? 

In short, we're here to help you! Here are some of the things you can expect from your personal librarian:

  • Help with navigating the library and its resources and services
  • Answers to questions about research and help with planning research strategies
  • Assistance in locating and accessing information, even during academic breaks
  • Periodic helpful messages with timely suggestions from the library

Who is my personal librarian?

From when you first arrive until you declare a major, your personal librarian is Tim Brown. You can also access his tailored guides for First Year Inquiry and the Sophomore Class.
