BUS 339 Consumer Behavior (Dr. Ferrand)

Beginning your research

When researching for a term paper, you will want to explore a variety of resources that are provided by the library. I have compiled some library resources to get your started and then you can use OneSearch or a specific business database to look for further information.

You will want to look for credible and relevant sources about your chosen topic. These sources can be peer-reviewed journal articles, market research reports, industry analysis, and credible news or trade publications.

Research Tips:

  • Use quotes for multipart keywords

               ex. "brand perception"

  • Combine keywords for better results - use "AND" to combine two keywords.

ex. "Gen Z" AND "brand loyalty"

  • Evaluate your sources - ask yourself these questions - is it relevant? Is it current? Is it a credible?

Citation Reminder:

Keep track of your sources! You will need to cite them properly in a bibliography at the end of your research paper. If you use a citation creator like Zbib make sure to always check the output for accuracy.
