The Head of Collections provides leadership, strategic direction, and support for the development, assessment, and continuous improvement of the library collections. Reporting to the Dean of the Library, the Head of Collections Services sets the priorities for the Collections team, defines goals, develops systematic assessment measures, refines workflows, and fosters an environment of collegiality, respect and teamwork. This position oversees the library resources management system and materials budget monitoring. The Head of Collections Services supervises the Collections Management Assistant and one or more student employees.
